1. Self study is the only last resort.
2. Don’t avoid coming to school in the name of self study. Schedule keeps you agile and prevents you from distress, ailments and posture related issues due to prolonged sitting.
3. Make mnemonics to learn and discussions to understand.
4. Avoid new tutors on media and stick to books.
5. Prefer book reading in place of short notes. Because, entire sequence of events and the reference is required in order to understand the concept.
6. Remember: Stress entangles the thoughts and ideas whereas, easiness shows clarity of path. It is just like an entangled rope.
7. Believe upon yourself your brain got more bites of space then the tiny pieces of papers. So, don’t plan to cheat.

The Government of India has approved the initiative of setting up of 100 new Sainik Schools in partnership with NGOs/Private Schools/State Governments in a graded manner class-wise, starting from Class 6^th onwards. Under this initiative, Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) has been signed by Sainik Schools Society with 19 New Sainik Schools located all over the country.

Following further evaluation of applications for opening new Sainik Schools under partnership mode, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh has approved setting up of 23 New Sainik Schools in partnership mode. This initiative has increased the tally of new Sainik Schools under partnership mode functioning under the aegis of Sainik School Society to 42 apart from the existing 33 Sainik Schools already functioning under the erstwhile pattern.

The objectives behind Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of setting up of 100 new Sainik Schools is to provide quality education to the students in tune with National Education Policy and give them better career opportunities, including joining the Armed Forces. It also gives an opportunity to the private sector to work hand-in-hand with the Government towards nation building by refining today’s youth to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.

These new Sainik Schools, besides their affiliation to respective education boards, will function under the aegis of Sainik Schools Society and will follow the Rules and Regulations for new Sainik schools in partnership mode prescribed by the Society. In addition to their regular affiliated board curriculum, they will also impart education of Academic PLUS curriculum to the students of Sainik school pattern. With the themes of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat – Loktantra ki Matruka’, the 75^th Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path on January 26, 2024 will be women-centric. Women marching contingents will form the major chunk of the parade, with most of the tableaux of States/Union Territories (UTs) and Central Ministries/Organisations showcasing the country’s rich cultural diversity, unity and progress. ‘India is truly a mother of democracy’.

For the first time, the parade will be heralded by 100 women artists playing Indian musical instruments. The parade would commence with the music of Sankh, Naadswaram, Nagada, etc. to be played by women artists.

The parade will also witness an all-women Tri-Service contingent marching down Kartavya Path for the first time. The CAPF contingents will also consist of women personnel. Surely, it would be a boost for girls and will inspire them to join forces
