Northern International School in short known as NIS Adampur, established on 15th April 2008 run under the aegis of Hi-tech group of industries, Faridabad, the campus sprawled over 16 acres of land in a serene, salubrious, vibrant, invigorating, placid and tranquil surrounding of a country side of Adampur, Distt. Hisar (Haryana), just a 200 Km away form Delhi, well connected by rail and road round the clock, Delhi - Sirsa railway track / road NH-10. While going round the school you come across a four storey, awe inspiring, state of the art school building, academic wing with a vast, well equipped science and other laboratories. Each of the laboratories having a capacity of 100's of students to conduct their practicals. There are wide spread sports fields, courts of basket ball, lawn tennis, badminton etc, administrative block with a lift system to have an access to all the floors. Life of course is a long journey but if starts with a small step that we take at an early age. But to establish that this step is stepping stone and smooth too is our commitment. Some people read History and a few create History. It's Sh. LS Malik an entrepreneur, with a great visionary approach and lofty ideas, a philanthropist, a luminary and a person of scientific approach has sowed this seed which is bound to be a fructifying tree in the days to come.

Sh. Malik's discreet mind has always sought a special niche for young minds. He believes by strengthening social and family bonds at the society and family level, and scientific temperaments in the school, we will be able to nurture the latent talents and creativity and thus developing the future citizens wholesomely. Sh. Sanjay Malik, the Chairman of Northern International Society Adampur (Hisar) is a young, enthusiastic and quality conscious person with a versatile personality. The present institution is an outcome of his broad and farsighted vision. Under his dynamic leadership the school will grow, develop and arch towards its goal. A young, energetic social worker, and a well known Philanthropist. He is a panacea for all cares. Verily he is one of those who mustered the courage to initiate this giant step of inception of a Grand Educational institution, Northern International School. The service to education is moored around the concept of self actualization. In school days, I had little idea about teaching as a career. Despite being a long term residential student, my utopia was nowhere in the field of education. The Directorship of Northern International school came as a responsibility, which defies all pre-owned notions of education. The school inherits a strong pool of tangible and intangible resources. The very first decade, since its inception, is a harbinger of stability and viability of its organizational structure.

There have been students who have scaled mounting heights in their path of success. And, that too without following gimmicks of competitive world. Looking at these results and possibilities, the dire desire of working round the clock is getting stronger and unquenchable. Teaching is the only profession in the entire world where the consumer does not ask for the whereabouts of the seller, i.e the teacher. The entire process of exchange is purely based upon trust. Thus, it is the sole responsibility of teaching commune to build upon that latent trust between a teacher and the following followers.

Education is the organic development of the individual: mental, moral and physical i.e. of the body, mind and spirit. Therefore objects not words, sense perception and not memory, must form the basis of education. Nature develops all the forces of humanity and by exercising them, these increases in strength.

The present system of education, however takes the individual to be an animal. In his training he is taught to parrot words and phrases the words which don�t exist in their own right are symbols. As long as they signify things, relation and processes, they have meaning and value. When things and relation that words represent do not exist in the external world i.e. when words are theoretical and abstract, the pupil has to undergo what may be called the tyranny of words. Theoretical and abstract knowledge has the tendency to cloud the human mind. Science should stand for carefully verified knowledge.

It is a recognized principle of psychology that up to the age of 14 or 15 years, the child has a remarkable capacity for grasping the concrete. But his genius for understanding abstract ideas and generalization is strictly limited. Whatever generalization, he makes or understands have to be intimately related to, and connected with objective facts, He must, therefore learn by mean of the concrete. Children are first restless and then curious. If nature has wisely made them restless, it has to be for a purpose. The obvious purpose pertains to their growth. Psychologically, a growing child nature needs a good deal of physical activity for the expression and blossoming. The educational method must conform of the child�s mind and psychology.

The history of human civilization reveals that there is a double process of education by observation and experiment by which the wild and violent man of the jungle, more or less identified with animals is tamed and raised and progressively becomes civilized.

Children are the dream of their parents. Every parent wants to make their children a good citizen and good human beings. I am sure that Northern International School is the best place for your wards.
